Scavenger Hunt!

On Saturday March 21st, Marina, Clay, Emily Stickles, Ms. Barnard, Ben and I went to Boston to participate in a scavenger hunt organized by World Challenge. Our team name was The Peruvian Death Peppers, we ran all around Boston taking pictures of landmarks, statues, and deciphering clues. We had to interview three strangers, including a chef named Juan, a Russian cop and a Boston Lawyer. We bartered for sports memorabilia and gave away our bandannas and necklaces to a family from New Hampshire.While trying to navigate the streets of Boston, we got directions from a colonial tour guide and many people who were intrigued by our intense team spirit.

At the end of the day, we won the scavenger hunt with a total of 203 points! Through our hard work, we earned $100 towards our trip!

Trip Preparation

Over the last year and a half, our team has fund raised, researched Peru, learned Spanish, and taken a training camping trip. We have also run 5ks to get in shape for the hiking ahead of us. Here are some pictures of our team activities.
